During our travel stint earlier in the year Lee purchased this book to read on the plane. I started it while we were away & finally managed to finish the last couple of chapters the other night. Not saying it was a hard read, I just put it down to read something else & didn't get back to finish it.

I guess it was the blurb on the back cover that caught his eye….

“My name is Tucker Max, and I am an asshole. I get excessively drunk at inappropriate times, disregard social norms, indulge every whim, ignore the consequences of my actions, mock idiots & posers, sleep with more women than is safe or reasonable and just generally act like a raging dickhead. But I do contribute to humanity in one very important way; I share my adventures with the world.”

I read this book expecting it to be quite offensive to women and yep there were some parts that raised an eyebrow or two & some parts that were quite hilarious.
Tucker has his own website & a lot of the stories are posted there if this sounds like something you would like to read.

    It was the blurb on the back that got me to buy the book. And I'm glad I did. How refreshing it was to see someone write about their exploits without have do bow down to pressure from publishers or minority groups. So what if it offends people, its fucking hilarious. This guy is living his life as he see's fit. Sure he has done some bad shit to people but lets face it, we wouldn't buy it if he was a goody fucking two shoes lmao. I thoroughly recommend that all men read this. And some women, if ya wanna know what that one night stand guy really thought of you. If you can handle it that is, otherwise go read mills n fuckin boon lmfao.

    thnx ang. I may just have to get this for chris he does read and anything that is in it's own right rude he loves. And well I love to read what men think. I can usually guess but this time nothing wrong with being lazy lol.

    well check out a few of the stories on Tucker's web page before you buy Jean, to see if it's something Chris would like. This book has been on & off the New York Times Best Seller List.

    I've just started the book and came over to read the review Angie put up i'm already halfway through it and I had to take a breather because of laughing so damn hard. Anyway so far I find it highly offensive but also SO damn funny!

    I cant say i was offended in any way by this book ( i dont think its possible to offend me lol) but i never laughed so hard in my life! I actually cried i laughed so hard! Im twisted..... so of course i give it 5 ***** Lmfao !

    I did do it on purpose, because I had been called the typo police a few times too many around about that time, for picking up someone else's typo's in their blog titles. I actually meant to go back & fix it after that person had not noticed this...lol

    Oh and I don't hate you because you're beautiful....that thought never occurred to me :D
